‘Bruce Lee’ branded products to be launched in Dubai

Bruce Lee’s daughter is to visit Dubai on Monday to launch a range of branded products named after the iconic martial arts actor, it was reported at the weekend.

Shannon Lee, daughter of the Chinese-American actor and CEO of licensing company Bruce Lee Enterprises has partnered with Chkoudra Paris to launch the range of ‘Bruce Lee’ branded products, it was announced on Thursday.

Lee, who is also president of the board of directors of the Bruce Lee Foundation, will announce the products at a press conference in Deira on Monday.

“I am looking forward to my trip to Dubai, I have heard a lot about it here in the US and I would like to finally be there to see and feel it myself. This is my first visit to the Middle East,” she was quoted as saying by the Trade Arabia website.

“As part of Bruce Lee Enterprises I am visiting Dubai to announce the launch of some new products. Globally, we will be announcing several new initiatives, events and plans for 2012 to keep the powerful legacy of Bruce Lee alive,” she added.

Bruce Lee was a Chinese-American actor who made a number of martial arts themed movies in the 1970s, including Fist of Fury (1972), Way of the Dragon (1972) and Enter the Dragon (1973).

Bruce Lee Enterprises already has a licensing agreement with Amman-based animation production company Rubicon Group Holding (RGH).
