Train 5 launches

RasGas has announced output from its US$1.7 billion Train 5 LNG plant will be exported entirely to Europe. The plant, which opened last month, has a capacity of 4.7 million tonnes a year.

"We are already running at the full capacity and 10 cargoes have already been shipped," said Mohd Saleh al-Sada, managing director of RasGas.
