Mannai launches new FM company

Qatar based Mannai Corporation has set up a new joint venture company with Australian-based maintenance company Transfield Services.
The new company, Transfield Mannai Facilities Management Services (TMFMS), will take control of the assets, manpower and ongoing contracts of Mannai's building services and maintenance company Manwell Technical Services.
The move follows a pattern in Qatar for companies to outsource their facilities and assets management needs.
"We have more than 100 clients across a wide range of industry sectors including the public and private sectors and we are excited about our growth prospects for 2007," said Neil Grasby, general manager of TMFMS.
"We will be able to provide our clients with a fully integrated facilities management services, ranging from the very basic to the complex management of maintenance schedules allowing our clients to get on with their business." Grasby added.
Transfield Services has more than 20,000 employees working across the world and operates in diverse industries such as water, power, public transport, defence and mining.
