FVC teams up with Proxim

Dubai services firm FVC has signed a distribution deal with Proxim Wireless covering the MENA region.

Under the agreement, announced this week, FVC will distribute Proxim's range of wireless products throughout MENA.

Proxim Wireless, a subsidiary of wireless broadband equipment supplier Terabeam, offers WLAN, mesh, point-to-multipoint and point-to-point networking solutions.

"Our agreement with Proxim Wireless enables us to continue to provide our partners with a wide range of wireless solutions from WiFi to wireless gigabit ethernet," KS Parag, regional director of FVC, commented.

Faisal Saifullah, Proxim's Middle East regional sales director, added: "We are pleased to have FVC on board. This partnership will enable us to cover the entire region bringing us closer to our resellers around the region. FVC will be working closely with our existing channel partners as well as expanding Proxim's distribution network within the region."
