Qatar based Mannai Corporation has set up a new joint venture company with Australian-based maintenance company Transfield Services.

The new company, Transfield Mannai Facilities Management Services (TMFMS), will take control of the assets, manpower and ongoing contracts of Mannai's building services and maintenance company Manwell Technical Services.

The move follows a pattern in Qatar for companies to outsource their facilities and assets management needs.
