by ArabianBusiness.com staff writer on Thursday, 05 April 2007
BEA Systems has introduced three enterprise solutions designed to help customers deploy Web 2.0 technology.
The software firm unveiled the products last week at a conference in San Diego, US.
BEA said its AquaLogic Ensemble, AquaLogic Pages and AquaLogic Pathways integrated software solutions were designed to bring Web 2.0 and social computing to the enterprise.
AquaLogic Ensemble is an infrastructure software solution, designed for developers and IT operations to create and manage mash-up applications, regardless of development platform and hosting environment.
AquaLogic Pages allows end-users to create simple web applications for day-to-day business situations that could "dramatically" improve knowledge worker productivity.
AquaLogic Pathways is a collaborative discovery and identification tool that combines social book-marking and tagging with search and activity analytics.
