Ramco delivers on business process

Enterprise software firm Ramco has launched its Business Process Delivery System (BPDS) in the region.
BPDS is a suite of products that helps companies implement business processes more effectively, the firm said.
The suite, launched last month, includes: the Ramco Business Process Platform, which is based on service oriented architecture (SOA) standards; Ramco Business Services, which allows customers to choose from more than 1,000 pre-configured business services; and Ramco Business Analytics, which provides business intelligence through the use of dashboards, key performance indicators and a balanced scorecard framework.
"If the whole focus of a bank changes, your software needs to be completely rewritten and no bank wants to do that," said Venketrama Raja, vice chairman and managing director of Ramco Systems. "You can now go and create entirely new kinds of software very rapidly."
Ramco's customers in the Middle East include RAK Bank and Citibank in Dubai.
