Secure Computing goes on the road
by ArabianBusiness.com staff writer on Thursday, 05 April 2007
Enterprise gateway security firm Secure Computing is holding a roadshow to highlight network threats.
The five-conference event takes place in Riyadh, Kuwait, Qatar, Dubai and Cairo, and runs from April 1 to 8.
The invitation-only roadshow will feature specialist speakers who will discuss the latest trends and developments in network security, and will address issues ranging from web and messaging gateway security to identity access management.
"Secure Computing is launching this road show to complement our regional expansion plans that aim to promote more awareness throughout the region about the potentially devastating impacts of targeted network threats," said Sami Mulla, Middle East director of Secure Computing.
"The advanced technology used by hackers and phishers erodes basic network defences and can enter, disrupt or even take over corporate networks, effectively destroying an organisation from the inside out," he added.
