Aramex boosts KSA fleet

by David Ingham on Tuesday, 10 April 2007

Aramex has boosted its delivery capabilities in Saudi Arabia by acquiring twelve 50ft vehicles. The express delivery company's Saudi Arabian network connects three main hubs in Dammam, Riyadh and Jeddah.

"The aim in making these changes has been to sharpen our focus on timely delivery," said Hussam Baraqouni, Aramex KSA's country manager. "The network will operate more efficiently throughout the Kingdom."

The trucks will be equipped with GPRS equipment, which will allow the company's customers to track the status of their shipments via the Aramex web site. Aramex operates a total of 26 offices and facilities throughout Saudi Arabia.
