US-based restaurant software supplier Intura Solutions has inked a new distribution deal to turn quick service profit.
Dubai-based EMPA Business Solutions has become the distributor of the company's point-of-sale (POS) and business management software in Saudi Arabia, the UAE, Jordan, Oman, Yemen, Bahrain, Kuwait and Qatar.
Gary W Peek, the president of Intura, revealed the company's main push will be its Intura Vision POS system, featuring customer relationship management modules, combined with inventory, delivery and management reports.
According to the agreement, EMBA-PS will hold the distribution license rights to Intura Vision and Intura Enterprise, a corporate communications portal for multi-unit restaurant organisations.
"We view our partnership with Intura Solutions as an aggressive strategic move mutually benefical to both parties involved. We will augment market share and capitalise on the future growth of quick service and fast casual dining concepts in the food and beverage industry in the Middle East," said Wassim Israwi, general manager, EMBA-PS.
Located in Dubai's Jebel Ali Free Zone, the company will also provide hardware, installation, training and support services for Intura, which currently boasts big name clients in the US including Hungry Howie's Pizza, Dunkin' Donuts, Pizza Inn, Jet City Pizza, Ba-Da Wings.
