Daiwa given DIFC licence

Daiwa Securities has been granted a licence to operate from the Dubai International Financial Centre (DIFC) as an authorised firm by the Dubai Financial Services Authority. The primary purpose of the office will be to develop business opportunities in markets across the Middle East, focusing initially on the sale of Japanese and Asian equities and structured bonds, as well as supporting the investment banking needs of local customers.
