Festival pushes cedar power
by Lynne Nolan on Thursday, 19 April 2007
Casual dining giants from Lebanon have pinpointed Dubai's Festival City (DFC) as a spectacular area of growth with a series of new openings.
Zaatar W Zeit has added its ground floor outlet at DFC to its burgeoning portfolio, with 24-hour opening already a chief consideration for its management team, due to high demand.
The restaurant is the chain's third location in Dubai, with United Restaurant Development owning the franchise in the city, with four more outlets scheduled to open across the UAE later this year.
Casper & Gambini's has also opened its first restaurant at Dubai Festival City along its Canal Walk, which offers both al fresco and indoor seating.
The company was originally established as a food delivery service, yet has since become a restaurant concept in cities across the Middle East, including Kuwait, Jeddah, Cairo and Amman.
