Kanoo Holidays launches Singapore brochure
by Gemma Greenwood on Monday, 23 April 2007
Kanoo Holidays has partnered with the Singapore Tourism Board (STB) to launch a dedicated Singapore brochure ahead of the busy summer period.
The eight-page brochure, which will be officially launched at next week's Arabian Travel Market (ATM) from May 1 to 4 at the Dubai World Trade Centre, will offer packages to Singapore from four key markets; the UAE, Saudi Arabia, Qatar and Bahrain.
"It will be a price-based brochure so it will feature prices in all four currencies," explained Zaeem Gama, sales and marketing manager of KSA-based Kanoo Holidays.
"It will be available exclusively for the summer, valid from May 15 to October 31, and will offer land packages only so clients can choose the airline the wish to fly with depending on what market they are flying from."
Brochure features include four- and five-star accommodation, destination information and tour itineraries.
Gama said the joint venture with STB had been formed to leverage the increasing popularity of multi-trip holidays to Asia amongst Arab nationals and ex-pats alike.
"We are noticing that increasingly, people are combining Malaysia or Thailand with Singapore," he said.
"Singapore is a good all-round destination and it's particularly good for shopping," Gama added.
He indicated that similar initiatives with Malaysia, Australia and Geneva in Switzerland could be in the pipeline.
Kanoo Holidays' Singapore brochure will be distributed to the 200 Kanoo Travel offices across KSA and the UAE, to selective corporate accounts, as well as at ATM.
