BASF hikes chemical prices
by ArabianBusiness.com staff writer on Saturday, 28 April 2007
BASF Construction Chemicals has increased the prices of its Pozzolith, Glenium and Rheobuild ranges throughout the Middle East.
According to the company, over the last nine months, worldwide naphthalene prices have steadily increased, resulting in double-digit cost increases for superplasticisers. In addition, ever increasing demands for raw materials and the weakening of the US dollar against most major currencies has led to higher landed costs for raw materials.
