Logistics heavyweights nominated for SCATA awards

SCATA event takes place in Dubai this month.

The leading players from the Middle East logistics industry will compete for trophies at the inaugural Supply Chain and Transport Awards (SCATA), taking place later this month.

The event will include 16 categories in total, covering the logistics, sea freight and air cargo sectors. Industry heavyweights such as DHL, Aramex, Agility, DP World, Gulf Agency Company (GAC) and Emirates SkyCargo have received the maximum number of nominations.

The winners will be announced at a glitzy ceremony, being held in association with the Material Handling and Logistics exhibition, which will take place at the Fairmont Hotel in Dubai on Monday 28 May 2007.
