Ehrhardt + Partner is planning to increase the number of logistics workshops it organises in Dubai, following strong customer demand in the region.
The German company has traditionally hosted its seminars in Europe, but ventured into the Middle East with events in March and April, tackling topics such as warehouse communication technologies, storage optimisation and international best practice.
"Our first workshops were very well attended. Participants included lots of visitors from Saudi Arabia, Qatar and Bahrain," said Hermann Ehrhardt, founder of Ehrhardt + Partner.
"We already have people interested in the new event dates. This shows us that the demand for information in the field of warehouse logistics in Dubai is huge," he added.
To support its regional presence, Ehrhardt + Partner also plans to open a regional office in Dubai Logistics City.
"We see huge possibilities in the DLC. This is where the most important logistics market of the future will be. And this is why it was exceptionally important to the E+P Group to be onsite with its own company and experienced German staff during the organisational phase of the DLC," said Ehrhardt. "We are now already in a position to implement complex warehouse projects and modernisations on-site in accordance with international requirements and quality standards."
