by ArabianBusiness.com staff writer  on Saturday, 26 May 2007

Nakheel has formed a strategic alliance with the Dubai Electricity and Water Authority to discuss future utility requirements on its various ongoing projects. It is thought the residential and hotel population at its three island projects as well as The World and Dubai Waterfront could hit three million when they are completed. Nakheel will develop around 600 million m2 of land in the next 20 years.
