NMK secures hospitality deals

by ArabianBusiness.com staff writer  on Friday, 01 June 2007
Madinat Jumeriah will install its new Shure UHF-R controllers in the 1,000 seat Madinat Arena and the impressive Madinat Theatre.

Pro audio distributor NMK has finalised a deal with AV contractor Gulf Wireless and Television (GWT) to supply a range of audio equipment to be installed in a major mixed-use tower development to be located in Dubai's new downtown precinct.

The Bavarian Suites residential and hospitality project consists of two buildings located on either side of Sheikh Zayed Road and is scheduled for completion later this year.

The deal will see NMK supply a range of speakers, amplifiers, mixers and other audio reinforcement equipment that will be installed in the building's leisure and corporate facilities.

Highlights of the package include EV ceiling, surface-mount and full-range cabinet speakers, which will be installed in the building's multi-purpose function rooms, and a range of Cloud Pump Station 16 amplification and distribution products, which will distribute multimedia content via a CAT-5 network throughout the gym.

Meanwhile, NMK has completed delivery of a raft of Shure UHF-R wireless microphone systems to Dubai's Madinat Jumeirah resort.

The new wireless systems will be employed in Madinat's reception and entertainment facilities, which include a 1,000 seat arena and the Madinat Theatre, which stages both local and international theatre productions.

NMK also recently secured a contract with UAE rental company Artes, for the supply of Shure PSM700 in-ear monitoring systems.

The PSM700 system can support more than 16 transmitters in a single application.
