US$76.5m Abu Dhabi missile deal

Abu Dhabi Ship Building has awarded US defence contractor Raytheon a US$76.5m contract to supply seven missile systems. Last week Raytheon said the rolling airframe missile guided missile weapon systems would be delivered in December 2007 and installed on six Baynunah corvette military vessels.
The agreement provides for an on-shore Rolling Airframe Missile test and training system, logistical support and other services.
