2 Chainz joins O1NE Yas Island line-up

Chart topping American hip hop recording artist joins the star studded line-up at Abu Dhabi’s latest club destination

American hip hop recording artist 2 Chainz will be performing at O1NE Yas Island on December 19.

Throughout his career, rapper 2 Chainz has received numerous BET Hip Hop, Grammy and Soul Train nominations and awards. In 2012, the song “Mercy” with Kanye West, Big Sean and Pusha T won a “Reese’s Perfect Combo” and “Sweet 16, Best Featured Verse” at the BET Hip Hop Awards and Best Hip Hop Song of the Year at the Soul Train Awards. In the same year, he won the People’s Champ Award for “No Lie” with Drake at the BET Hip Hop Awards.

The rapper’s first debut studio album with Def Jam Records spawned several successful singles including “Birthday Song”, and “I’m Different” both charted the top 50 of Billboard Hot 100.

His Latest studio album was released on September 10, 2013 titled, B.O.A.T.S. II: Me Time which featured guest appearances from Pharrell Williams, Fergie, Drake, Lil Wayne, Pusha T, Mase, Chrisette Michele, T-Pain, Dolla Boy, and Lloyd among others.

This is the first time that O1NE Yas Island features 2 Chainz. Since opening on October 31, the venue has presented an impressive line-up of recording artists including Lil’ Kim, Benny Benassi, Ludacris, Ciara, Labrinth and Sean Kingston.

O1NE Yas Island is open every Thursday to accommodate 1,000 club goers at a single time. Entrance is free for table bookings and doors open for the event at 11:00pm on December 19.
