ESKADENIA SOFTWARE Solutions has supplied Jordanian investment bank Amwal Invest with its content management system (CMS) as the bank moves to upgrade and modernise its IT infrastructure.
The software company helped Amwal to redesign and improve its website using its CMS web builder application.
The CMS system, based on Microsoft.net, XHTML and CSS technologies, provides a range of features including new management and mailing lists, and can be used without specialist knowledge. Users access the system through a multi browser-based interface.
The implementation of the system, which took 45 days, is just the start for the bank as it upgrades its IT infrastructure, explained Doha Abdelkhaleq, executive director and cofounder of Eskadenia.
“They have ambitious plans for IT modernisation and have taken the first step to do so by building their enterprise on a platform that allows them for best business-to-business and business-to-customer interaction.
This state-of-the-art management system will allow them to do that and build on it by integrations or links or access to third party or video conferencing or whatever,” she said.
“The good thing about this system is the administration process is streamlined, you don’t need technical assistance or knowledge of the programming languages, a secretary can come in and fix the data online,” she added.
The website has the potential to be developed into a fullfledged business-to-business and business-to-customer web presence by adding brokerage and investor modules and services, which will integrate with third-party applications and payment gateways.
“It is more than a content management system, it is not only about editing, it is a platform that allows for a multi-access approach,” Abdelkhaleq said.“We are glad to have been chosen as a supplier for Amwal.
They are well-known and respected in the market.”
