Empost appointed courier for Iranian Hospital

by ArabianBusiness.com staff writer  on Tuesday, 31 October 2006

Empost, the UAE’s national courier company, has entered into a strategic agreement with the Iranian Hospital in Dubai to provide Health Pack services for the benefit of the hospital and its patients.

Under the agreement, Empost will become the official courier service provider for the hospital. It will also open a dedicated counter within the hospital premises – at the hospital’s visa medical testing centre – providing patients with a range of courier services to ensure the delivery of medical documents.

Manned by dedicated Empost staff, the office will handle all outbound business-to-business and business-to-consumer courier traffic, such as blood test reports, laboratory test reports and other medical reports and documents.

“Our agreement with the Iranian Hospital furthers Empost’s strategy of integrating and customising services to meet the specific requirements of our widening base of customers,” said Sultan Al Midfa, CEO, Empost.

“The addition of the the hospital to Empost’s growing list of clients consolidates our operations in the medical sector. Through similar branch offices, Empost has established its presence in many government departments and non-governmental organisations, helping them to improve efficiency and add value to the services they provide to customers,” he added.
