The board of directors at Qatar Navigation recently approved the construction of three container vessels. The order is valued at US$71.7 million, with each vessel featuring a capacity of 1100 TEUs each. The company also has an option to build a fourth vessel with the same capacity, at a cost of $23.9 million. Qatar Navigation selected Dae Sun Shipbuilding and Engineering Company to build the vessels.
