Mina Saqr

The Mina Saqr Port container terminal will open as planned next year, confi rmed His Highness Sheikh Saud bin Saqr Al Qasimi, crown prince and deputy ruler of Ras Al Khaimah. The Kuwait and Gulf Link Transport Company (KGL) signed a US$45 million deal last year with the Ras Al Khaimah Government to develop and manage the Mina Saqr Port container terminal for 21 years. Current estimates suggest the container facility will be open for business as early as January.
