Natura Bissé opens new office in Dubai

by ArabianBusiness.com staff writer  on Tuesday, 31 October 2006

NATURA Bissé International SA, a skincare cosmetics brand headquartered in Barcelona, Spain, has opened a new office in Dubai Airport Free Zone in an effort to increase its business in the Middle East. The company has also recruited international PR agency GolinHarris in a bid to strengthen its presence in the region. The new office replaces Natura Bissé’s former distributor for the Middle East, which was known as Natura Bissé Middle East.

Nayton Cutiño, who was recently appointed general manager for Natura Bissé for MENA and the Indian Subcontinent after serving as export area manager for the Middle East, is confident that the new office will help drive the brand forward in the region.

“Since its introduction to the GCC market, Natura Bissé has received exceptional response from customers who have experienced the brand’s product lines,” he said.

“We are also pleased that GolinHarris will support us with their expertise in this region. I firmly believe that this is the right partnership for a new step in the brand’s life in this region.”

Cutiño, who worked for more than two years as sales and marketing manager with Natura Bissé’s former distributor for the GCC region, will be heading the new company covering the entire Middle East, North Africa and Indian Sub Continent. Natura Bissé was founded in Spain in 1972 by Ricardo Fisas and has a presence in outlets including Harrods, Harvey Nichols, and Neiman Marcus.
