New recreation manager for Mövenpick Bur Dubai
With experience in the fields of leisure, fitness and spa treatments, Romanian national Daniel Moraiu is preparing to make his mark on the Rooftop Fitness Centre at the Mövenpick Hotel Bur Dubai.
A graduate of the National Academy of Physical Training and Sport at the University of Bucharest in Romania, Moraiu is also a certified physical education instructor and a black belt trainer in Judo.He also specialises in spa treatments, and plans to introduce several new concepts to the Mövenpick’s spa menu.
Having worked most recently at the Grosvenor House, as the assistant health and spa manager, Moraiu has also served time at the Hilton Creek and Hilton Jumeirah, and the Sofitel Bucharest in Romania.
Treatments at the Assawan spa bid farewell to summer
Now that the mid-summer heat is behind us, the Assawan Spa & Health Club at the Burj Al Arab is offering a special facial experience to help repair the effects of the sun and sea. The hour-long Skin Brightening Facial uses ESPA products and is priced at AED 400 (US $109).The facial includes a special application of ingredients rich in exfoliants and antioxidants to help repair, revitalise and visibly improve the radiance of the skin through rehydration.
Included in this special offer is full use of the fitness centre, indoor infinity pools and Jacuzzis, and herbal tea is served to complete the experience.
Shape up for summer with help from Hilton Abu Dhabi
The Hilton is running a summer promotion to help guests get in shape.A course of four Body Firmer treatments is available at a special price of AED 1200 ($327).
The stimulating treatment will help to drain and decongest fatty tissue and restore firmness to the skin.The package includes a complimentary 60- minute detoxifying aromatherapy massage, and guests will have the chance of a fitness assessment with one of the hotel’s team of experienced fitness professionals, free of charge.
