Certo is set to become the second restaurant in the UAE to be assessed by the Emirates' Italian food academy.
Members of the Accademia Italiana della Cucina will visit Certo at the Radisson SAS Hotel Dubai Media City on July 3 to judge the restaurant.
Launched in the UAE in December last year by Paolo Dionisi, Ambassador of Italy to the UAE, the Accademia aims to promote not only Italian cuisine and culture, but also the history behind the food, where it comes from, how it is made, and how it should be served.
With both Italian and Emirati members, the Accademia Italiana della Cucina has already certified one other restaurant in the UAE; Bice at the Hilton Abu Dhabi, yet Certo is the first restaurant in Dubai to be assessed.
If the Accademia approves the restaurant, it will receive the Accademia certification and will be listed in the academy's international restaurant listing.
