A new online reservation system, designed and developed by Golf in Dubai is making it possible for golfers to book a tee-time on a number of selected courses in the emirate via the internet.

Local and international golfing enthusiasts can log on to the system using the website www.golfcentral.ae and select preferred tee-times, book additional items and make online payments.

Initially the system, which does not charge any for hidden extras such as booking fees or credit card surcharges, caters only for visitors and UGA members, but it is anticipated that local club members will be able to book their rounds this way in the future.

"Our team has designed the system to be as informative and user-friendly as possible," said Mohamed Juma Buamaim, vice-chairman and CEO of Golf in Dubai.

"All tee-times shown are from an exclusive allocation and are, therefore, guaranteed available. Bookings can be made online 24 hours a day, seven days a week which, [making] it easy to plan a golfing holiday in Dubai," he added.
