Porsche creates new design multi tool for drill and hammer work

The P’7911 Porsche designed multihammer combines all the essential functions of a drill with the power of a pneumatic hammer.

German power tools company, Metabo, has marked its commitment to the UAE power tools market with the unveiling of the Porsche Design Multihammer P'7911.

Metabo has also named Sedana Trading Company as the exclusive distributor for its power tools in the UAE.

Metabo International Division for Operations Overseas is in the process of developing a Metabo platform in the Middle East, as well as India, to be run from Dubai, which will operate as the regional hub.

The new multihammer combines all the essential functions of a drill with the power of a pneumatic hammer. It has a unique housing made of carbon fibre and aluminium, with the handle mounted on top of the housing for improved ergonomics, making it natural and easy to operate, according to the company. Moreover, the hammer lies directly under the operator's hand, ensuring a stable centre of gravity and increased balance, which reduces pivoting at the drill tip.

The 705W tool drills into concrete, stone, wood and steel, with just one switch for selecting the different functions. Its settings: hammer drilling, drilling without hammer action, chiselling and screwdriving - make short work of all jobs arising in the home or onsite, according to Metabo. The multihammer is also equipped with a quick chuck change, progressively variable speed and a pneumatic impact mechanism.
