Campbell Reith Hill International have been awarded with the design contract for the Dubai Recycling Park (DRP).
It will be the first fully integrated waste management and recycling park in the Middle East and will be based within Dubai Industrial City.
Marwan Gerges, general manager of Dubai Interest, a subsidiary of National Projects Holding Co., said: "We will have an integrated approach to the environmental, design and engineering aspects of this development."
DRP is being built by the National Projects Holding Co. in conjunction with Dubai Industrial City.
"We believe this project encapsulates the way forward for the Middle East and consider Dubia Recycling Park our most important project from a socially responsible stand point. We expect it to have a tangible impact on lowering CO2 emissions from the region," he added.
Campbell Reith Hill International will be responsible for all the engineering studies linked to the project, in addition to utilities, traffic and environmental impact studies. Construction should start early 2008 and be completed 18 months later.
