Customers have backed Lufthansa German Airlines' Doha to Frankfurt flights.
The carrier launched three weekly Airbus A340-300 non-stop flights to Frankfurt from Doha in April, operating on Tuesdays, Fridays and Sundays and returning on Mondays, Thursdays and Saturdays. The outbound flights depart Doha at 00:25 arriving in Frankfurt at 06:05 and the inbound flights depart Germany at 11:15 and arrive in the Qatari capital at 18:10.
"We are pleased with the strong market performance of our non-stop flight. This non-stop [service] is indicative of Lufthansa's commitment to strengthen economic ties with Qatar," said Santiago S. Medrana, Lufthansa country manager - Qatar.
He continued: "It gives our customers the speed and comfort that they deserve. Non-stop flights to our hub in Frankfurt allow our passengers a fast and efficient flight to the rest of Europe and to the Americas."
Lufthansa operates 12 weekly code share flights to Frankfurt and Munich with Qatar Airways.
