KHD cements $100mn deal

Saudi Arabia’s Arabian Cement has awarded KHD Humboldt Wedag International a $110 million contract to build a new cement production line, it said on Monday.
The contract covers the design and equipment supply for Arabian Cement's Katrana Cement factory in Jordan.
KHD will also supply the mechanical, electrical and automation equipment for the entire cement production line for the new plant, as well as mechanical, electrical and automation equipment.
Once complete, the production line will have the capacity to produce 5,000 tonnes of powdered cement per day.
