The freight forwarder, which reported significant growth in the first half of 2007, is planning to expand its road network across the GCC, which will be overseen by Scott.
"We welcome the appointment of David Scott, who has extensive Middle East experience, having previously been based in Bahrain and Dubai in regional roles servicing the GCC region," said Michael Stockdale, general manager of Al-Futtaim Logistics.
"He has a solid background in 3PL logistics, as well as the courier sector within the Middle East and Australia," he added.
