Abu-Dhabi based oilfields service company AlMansoori Specialized Engineering has selected Epicor Scala to provide its ERP system.

AlMansoori will work with International Agencies Company (Intercol), Epicor's channel partner for the UAE, Bahrain and Qatar, for the implementation of the iScala suite. The suite is an end-to-end system of industry-specific solutions that provides services from customer relationship management (CRM) and service management to financial and supply chain management (SCM).

AlMansoori has been operational in the UAE since 1977, and is now looking to grow into other markets. Its traditional area of operations has been the Middle East, but the company is currently expanding its operations in North Africa and offering services in South East Asia as well.

"We are convinced that Epicor iScala as an industry-leading, scaleable ERP solution will bring better end-to-end business process efficiency which is very important to us at a time of accelerated growth. We are confident that Epicor iScala will also support our expansion plans which are on the anvil as we find the economic climate conducive to augmented business growth," said Nabil Alalawi, managing director of AlMansoori Specialized Engineering.

Senior officials at Epicor's Middle East office in Dubai say the win will boost its presence in the oil and gas sector across the region.

"Over the years we have demonstrated proven expertise in providing ERP solutions to the oil and gas sector. The addition of AlMansoori Specialized Engineering further expands our presence in the energy sector, a key economic segment in the region, particularly in the oil-rich GCC countries," said Basil Daniells, regional sales director for Epicor Middle East, North Africa and India.
