Al-Futtaim Logistics has reached an agreement with Unilever Gulf for the provision of warehousing and distribution services in the UAE.
The contract comes as a result of seasonal demand for Unilever products, with the logistics provider catering for the Fast Moving Consumer Goods (FMCG) company's extra business needs.
"Al-Futtaim Logistics is extremely proud to have reached an agreement with Unilever Gulf, and look forward to fostering a long and prosperous partnership," said Centin Baxter, business development manager at Al-Futtaim Logistics.
Unilever is to use Al-Futtaim's cool storage facility for its Home and Personal Care (HPC) range. The facility is located in Jebel Ali Free Zone and has a temperature range of between 18 and 22 degrees, with a humidity of below 70%.
