Dubai-based family entertainment channel, Infinity TV launched a second channel last month. Infinity 2, which will have a mix of music videos and movies in English, Arabic and Hindi, is broadcast on Badr 4.

"Many music and movie channels have emerged in the last few years in the region. We hope that by delivering both music and movies on our channel, we will continue to appeal to a large community in the region," commented Muhammad Nasir Ali, channel manager, Infinity 2. "We are also creating a new logo and a new scheme for this channel," he added.

Infinity 2 hopes to produce local, interactive programmes in the future.
