i2 CompuMe eyes Shopper opportunities

by ArabianBusiness.com staff writer on Wednesday, 29 August 2007

Mobile phone retailer i2 and consumer electronics chain CompuMe will appear together at Gitex Shopper this year, following the merger of the two companies earlier in the year. The combined stand at Shopper will include many of the companies' main brands including mobile phones, laptops and other consumer electronics.

Visitors to the i2 CompuME stand will also be able to take advantage of two instant scratch and win promotions, to win prizes and pre-loaded debit cards.

"Gitex Shopper, being the region's most prominent retail platform for consumer technology is the ideal event for us to reach out to a large number of customers at one place. The continuing growth of the consumer electronics and mobile phone markets will ensure a large number of visitors to Gitex and we look forward to an action packed event," said Dikran Tchablakian, senior VP-Retail at i2.
