Austrian energy drink Power Horse intends to become the number-one player in the region's lucrative energy drinks sector after signing a new advertising and media deal for the GCC, Levant and North Africa.
Power Horse, which is already the biggest energy drink brand in Saudi Arabia and Yemen, is confident that it can overtake archrival Red Bull to become the leading player in the region after appointing Memac Ogilvy and Phd as its advertising and media partners.
Memac Ogilvy, which is part of US media giant Oglivy, will handle advertising and PR for Power Horse, while Phd, which is part of global media company Omnicom, will cover media planning and buying across the region. "We selected Memac Ogilvy based on their thorough understanding of our regional markets and our consumers' needs," said Omar El Banna, regional marketing manager, Power Horse. "They presented an outstanding platform that we believe will deliver on our business objectives and take our brand forward."
