American digital projector manufacturer Optoma is using its presence at GITEX Technology Week to display its projector lineup and talk up the benefits of projection technology.
"Building on our successful participation in 2006, we're back and showing off our existing and latest range of award wining data, office and home cinema projectors - offering 100-inches of screen size, plus images in full High Definition (1080p)," says Adam Dent, sales manager for ROE sales, Optoma EMEA. Talking about the tangible benefits of projection technology when compared to LCD- or Plasma-based displays, Dent continues, "Projectors give you a much larger viewing area at a fraction of the cost of other display technologies."
When asked about the Middle East market's opportunities Dent explains, "The Middle East region is both attractive and promising for our business and we are experiencing steady growth as far as demand for our solutions is concerned."
