Al Aan during Ramadan

Al Aan will show three special programmes during the month of Ramadan.

A health and nutrition programme titled Sahhi W Saree will be hosted by Monique Bassila Zaarour to help homemakers serve healthy meals to their families.

The second programme titled Al Laila will take viewers to over 30 Arab countries.

Each night, the host, Mayssoun will take viewers through the traditions of one country.

Al Aan will also host a 35-minute cooking contest titled Jahze la eljaze, which means ‘ready for marriage'.

The competition will be hosted by newcomer, Cynthia Karam and an anonymous chef.

Each episode will see a new candidate prepare a dish while Karam and the chef share tales and jokes about local wedding superstitions.

At the end of the show, they will pass their comments on the dish.
