SAP in Al Rostamani deal

UAE-based Al Rostamani Group has revealed plans to implement SAP solutions in order to modernise its IT and business processes infrastructure and facilitate the company's growth.

Phase one of the implementation is to be completed by August 2008. SAP's mySAP ERP solution, together with additional industry solutions, will enhance and automate business processes across the diversified industries within the group, and help facilitate its aggressive expansion plans.

Over the course of the next three years, SAP's aim is to enhance the automation, consolidation and efficiency of operations across the Al Rostamani Group's 16 companies, which range from automotive, heavy vehicles and travel related products and services, to financial services, construction, recycling, real estate, IT products and general trading.

"Dubai and the UAE are growing at a phenomenal rate, and Al Rostamani Group is a major contributor to that growth," said Marwan Al Rostamani, chairman, Al Rostamani Group.

"SAP has the right technologies and the relevant industry experience to support and provide a competitive edge to the Al Rostamani Group and thus facilitate our future plans."
