i-mate launches ‘Ultimate’ mobile

by ArabianBusiness.com staff writer on Tuesday, 11 September 2007

i-mate is touting the latest additions to its Ultimate range of smartphones, the 6150 and 8150 models. In one demo, the company is showing how a PowerPoint presentation or music video on the handset can be played back on a monitor via a direct cable link.

"Technology is one of the basic components that encourages growth in rapidly developing economies," says Jack Craine, general manager, MEA and India, i-mate.

"This fact is perfectly illustrated by the rising demand for cutting-edge communication technologies in the Middle East in recent years."
