Viewcast updates Niagra

Video streaming specialist, ViewCast will showcase the Niagra SCX Pro software at IBC 2007. The new release will feature MPEG-4/H.264 and H.263 live streaming encoding. SCX Pro will allow multiple encoders to be controlled via a user initiated set-up or over the internet.

This eliminates the need for multiple products to control and monitor Windows Media and RealPlayer content.

ViewCast will also be displaying the next generation in the Niagra Pro streaming appliance system. The Niagra PowerStream Pro II features a new front panel interface with three EZStream buttons and LCD EASE menu system as well as the two-channel confidence monitor.

The Niagra SchedulStream automation software is an upgrade to the company's latest Niagra SCX software.

It can schedule and manage MPEG-4, Windows Media and Real Video encoding sessions.

Both Niagra SchedulStream and Niagra SCX are compatible with all Harris media management and automation systems.

The new Osprey-700 HD Video Capture Card is an HD-SDI A/V input card designed for broadcasters needing to re-purpose HD and SD content for IP video distribution and video-on-demand applications.

The 1-lane PCI Express interface allows for broad range motherboard support.

The Osprey-240 Video Capture Card is designed for the new high performance motherboards and provides component, Y/C, composite and balanced and unbalanced stereo inputs.
