IRC wins rubber contract with Qatar airport

International Rubber Company (IRC) has picked up a $464,000 contract to supply rubber gaskets and silicone sealant for phase one of the New Doha International Airport (NDIA) project.

The deal includes the supply of rubber gaskets for the exterior walls of the development to form a seal against air, water and wind infiltration, in addition to providing silicone sealant for structural glazing applications.

The $33 million airport development is scheduled for completion in December 2008.
