US $1m Grand Mosque renovation approved

A sum of US $1 million (AED3.65 million) for the renovation of Bin Yousuf Grand Mosque in Marrakech has been approved by HH Sheikh Hamdan bin Rashid Al Maktoum, deputy ruler of Dubai and UAE minister of finance and Industry.
Sheikh Hamdan has said that he is keen to enhance the name of Dubai and its image in the regional and historical arena by participating in the preservation of historic landmarks.
