Bulcke set to step up as new CEO of Nestlé
by ArabianBusiness.com staff writer on Tuesday, 02 October 2007
Paul Bulcke will replace Peter Brabeck-Letmathe as chief executive officer of Nestlé.
Bulcke, who is currently head of the food giant's American operations, will officially take up the CEO role in April next year. Brabeck-Letmathe will however remain at the company as a non-executive chairman.
"The board chose a strong and pragmatic business leader, ideally suited to lead the group in a period that will be marked by a phase of strategic and operational consolidation and a continued broadening of our nutrition, health and wellness business," said Brabeck-Letmathe.
