As part of the deal the London Philharmonic Orchestra, pictured, will play a concert in Dubai.

Dubai Properties on Sunday said it has signed a sponsorship deal with the London Philharmonic Orchestra as part of the real estate developer’s continued efforts to market itself internationally.

The sponsored performances will take place over the next three years in France, China, Austria, Australia, Denmark, Scotland and England, as well as one concert in Dubai scheduled for 2010.

The first of the concerts was held on Wednesday at the Royal Festival Hall in London.

“Our sponsorship of the London Philharmonic Orchestra will help us reach an influential consumer base,” Jade El Khalil, Chief of Sales and Marketing at Dubai Properties, said in a statement.

“It will also provide our brand with wider exposure across the world.”

Dubai Properties, part of state-owned conglomerate Dubai Holding, has been on a massive marketing campaign in Europe over the last few months in an attempt to attract investors, promoting its various developments at both London’s Harrods department store and the Hotel Ritz in Paris.

The developer’s projects include Culture Village, where the London Philharmonic Orchestra concert will take place, and The Vision Tower and Executive Towers at Business Bay, Al Waha Villas, and The Villa at the Dubailand mega-development.
