DFM expands information portal

Dubai Financial Market (DFM) has announced that it will extend the services it offers through its online portal, with the signing of a new agreement with eHosting DataFort.

eHosting DataFort already provides a fully managed hosting service for the DFM portal, but the new agreement will allow DFM to offer enhanced services through portal, such as online services, mainly real time market watch, rules and regulations, and news.

Hassan Al Serkal, operations manager, Dubai Financial Market (DFM), said: "Real time availability of financial market data is vital to Dubai stock market's customers. In order to facilitate this requirement, DFM has made the decision to expand the web access layer and deploy a high-end platform for its backend databases."

eHosting DataFort is currently aiming for a strategic expansion of its services, and DFM is a key customer, according to Mohamed Fouz, CEO, eHosting DataFort.

"This new project is the second phase of a successful roll out of DFM's online Portal hosted at eHosting DataFort's Data Centre. This is a strategic partnership, and we are determined to retain DFM's confidence in eHosting DataFort," he said.
