Dubai-based Tamani Hotels and Resorts are to provide a platform for the promotion of local and international artistic talent by displaying pieces of art throughout all their hotels.
The art, which is to have an Islamic feel, will feature as a prominent part of the interior design of the chain's hotels, as Alain Guernier, CEO, Tamani Hotels and Resorts explained: "Tamani Hotels will be built around the principles of the beauty of Arabic and Islamic art and people who appreciate art will value Tamani as we project art in our interior design. We will showcase exclusive items made specifically for Tamani and our properties will be part hotel, part art exhibition."
Hotel guestrooms are to feature original pieces of art including paintings, ornaments, carved pieces of furniture and textiles. Public spaces, such as lobbies, corridors and restaurants will also showcase artistic talent with individual pieces being highlighted through lighting.
The first Tamani hotel is to open in Dubai Marina later this year.
