The first in a series of special Dubai editions of TelegraphToday - an online digest from The Daily Telegraph.

Dubai is the focus of a series of special editions this week from British newspaper The Daily Telegraph, which on Monday launched its first digest devoted to the emirate.

The newspaper will produce Dubai specials of its TelegraphToday digest every day through till Friday.

The editions - available across Dubai and online on the Telegraph website - focus on business news from the region, including interviews with members of the ruling family.

Features in the Dubai editions of the British daily also provide insight into European expat lifestyles in the emirate.

The Telegraph’s spotlight on Dubai follows a similar move by rival UK daily newspaper The Times, which last week announced plans to temporarily relocate its business desk from London to the Middle East for its forthcoming Gulf Business Forum.

The first Times Gulf Business Forum - running between October 28 and November 4 - is designed to promote the newspaper and allow its journalists to tour the region to meet with business leaders in the UAE, Bahrain and Qatar.
